Where should we pick up the boat?


 In order for us to pick up a boat, the keys must be in the boat, and the power must be on to the boat lift (if there is one). If there are no keys, or there is no power to the lift, we will be unable to pick up your boat, and you will be charged extra.
Pick-up & delivery will be charged at $99/hour. $30/hour extra will be charged if an extra man is required.
Inside Storage

Don's Marine is not responsible for loss or damage to boats, motors, and trailers or articles left in boats in case of fire, theft, accident, freezing, or cause beyond the control of Don's Marine, it being understood that the owner will carry such insurance as he desires for his protection.

Boat price is $12/ft plus a $15 framing fee. Pontoon price is $14/ft plus a $35 framing fee. 		Outside boat storage customers acknowledge that any loss or damage to their boat while being stored outside, at Don's Marine LLC., shall remain the responsibility of the owner of said boat, including, but not limited to: SNOW/ICE/WIND DAMAGE, MILDEW, RODENT OR RACOON DAMAGE, VANDALISM, OR THEFT. This will apply to all boats stored outside, including shrink-wrapped boats.

Accordingly, outside boat storage customer shall provide his/her own insurance for such losses and hereby releases any and all claims against DON'S MARINE, LLC. with respect to loss or damage to such boat or it's contents.

Winterizing includes:
  • Fuel conditioner added; prevents the formation of gum & varnish.
  • Engine is run and fogged; prevents rust and corrosion of internal parts.
  • Fresh water flush, Bearing protectors lubed, Grease points lubed.
  • Gearcase/Outdrive oil changed.
  • Cooling system water is drained or anti-freezed; prevents freezing and cracking of parts (sterndrives).
  • Remove drain plugs, exhaust manifold plugs, disconnect hoses & battery (sterndrives).

Don's Marine will winterize every boat unless specifically instructed not to. 		Summer Run Up:

Summer Run Up includes:
  • Battery: Check with digital/electronic battery tester and clean connections
  • Outboard: Check lower unit oil, test run engine, check shifting.
  • Sterndrives: Same as outboards, plus check all petcocks, check belt tension, check power steering, check for leaks (water, oil, etc.).
  • Boat: Check lights, horn, and drain plug.
  • Trailer: Check tire pressure, grease bearing buddies.
Summer Run Up is required if Don's Marine is delivering your boat in the spring.

Detailing
Please detail my boat.
 New for 2010. We now offer in-house full-service detailing for all types and sizes of boats.
Terms and Conditions
It is mutually agreed that the following conditions shall govern the entire transaction:
  1. The owner is to deliver said vessel to Don's Marine at its yard, or Don's Marine will haul same out of water and place same in its yard space, for winter storage.
  2. Don's Marine is not responsible for loss or damage to boats, motors and trailers or articles left in boats in case of fire, theft, accident, freezing, animals, or any other cause beyond the control of Don's Marine, it being understoood that the owner will carry such insurance as he desires for his protection.
  3. Boats left after May 1 may be subject to additional storage fees.
  4. Boats may be moved outside at the discretion of Don's Marine anytime after April 1st.
  5. Payment is required in full at the beginning of storage periord OR 1/2 at the beginning of storage period, with the balance to be paid prior to February 1st.
  6. Late fee applies from February 1st at 1.5% per month or 18% per annum.
  7. One week's notice is required prior to spring pick-up.
All storage and service work is subject to 5.5% WI sales Tax.
